SRM TEAM ROBOCON

# 2019 PROBLEM STATEMENT AND THEME

— Given video shows the team of the statement and problem statement itself. The theme "Great Urtuu" highlights the ancient Mongolian messenger relay system for rapidly sharing information across long distances. We two robots that cooperate as messengers to complete tasks reflecting this history. The manual MR1 robot starts by carrying a testimony (Gerege) from the first relay station. It must traverse various terrain before passing the Gerege to the automatic four-legged MR2 robot at the next station. MR1 then scores points by throwing ankle bones (Shagai) while MR2 crosses obstacles using legs, not wheels. Finally, MR2 must climb a mountain and raise the Gerege at the summit to win. The theme emphasizes teamwork, mobility, and sharing knowledge, challenging the robots with diverse tasks representing how messengers travelled and communicated in Mongolia's past. The automatic robot's task is to aim for the rings, with the potential to win instantly if a golden shuttlecock lands in a golden cup. This contest involves specific criteria for team members, robot design, shuttlecocks, field dimensions, scoring, and safety considerations. This is just a representation of the problem statement.
